Associate Counselor

Susan brings to the Arters Public Relations team more than 17 years of public relations, advertising, and direct marketing experience combined with an enthusiastic, service-oriented attitude. Her specialty areas are media relations and publicity placements.

A native New Yorker and graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication, Susan has a broad marketing communications background. Her career path led her to devise and implement many public relations campaigns both in New York and Arizona.

Her strong print and broadcast media relationships have helped her secure exciting projects promoting high-profile celebrities, including Hugh Downs, Lou Rawls, Roberta Flack, Freda Payne, The Manhattans, Glen Campbell, The Spinners, Sam Moore, Chubby Checker, Samuel C. Johnson (of the SC Johnson Wax family), and many others.

Susan is a published writer and marketing strategist who has worked with private and public companies in all industries, including arts and entertainment, health care, real estate, retail, and telecommunications. In addition, she has helped non-profit organizations plan and execute successful fund-raising events.
